Relic finish Original-shape knobs
Golden Age Restoration Tuners for Solid Peghead
We're pleased to introduce these fine quality pre-World War II style tuning machines. Their simple, functional 3-on-plate design has long been sought by collectors and repairmen for restoring older guitars and improving tuning. The antiqued steel finish adds an appropriately authentic look to reproduction instruments, too. Complete set for solid peghead.
"For 20 years we've been dying for someone to manufacture tuners like these. People who build replica instruments or who do any restoration or repair work are just going to love these. Absolutely terrific, StewMac!" Frank Ford, Gryphon Stringed Instruments, Palo Alto CA

November 10, 2008 The Golden Age Restoration Tuners are really great. I have just put them onto my 1929 Gibson L1. Amazing to see it looking as it originally did. I am making two replicas of it and intend to use these to give them that authentic look. I like the fact that someone went to the trouble of making them look right - the finish of the metal and the 'yellowed' tuner buttons look just like the original ones. Thanks again. |
