Gotoh Midsize 510 Tuners with Black Plastic Knobs

I've been using my new tuners for about a month now. The glossy black is a definite head turner. I installed them on a Wechter Jumbo acoustic and it's eye appeal is quite stunning. However, while it seems to offer all the typical tuning characteristics of a good tuner, it offers little else. They are not locking. They are 18:1 so they offer a nice twist range, but they aren't cheap. I have to believe a big part of the cost is looks.

Thank you StewMac for these superb and smooth Japanese tuners. Years after years, I am still using Gotoh 510. Their sleek design with smoothness and reliable tuning is what I need to complete the instrument. Never had an issue with them.

I was looking for good action, black chrome and no fingerprints. Got all three with the 510's and a good price.

For many years 'Gotoh' has been our favorite tuner even though not as expensive as certain European varieties. So well made without annoying 'backlash' in the gearing. And the finish so durable. Congratulations Gotoh -unsurpassed quality is now matched by unsurpassed design. The best!!!
