3-on-Plate Waverly Machines for Slotted Pegheads

The Waverly 3500 tuners are without any doubt, the best vintage style 3 on a plate tuners available. I've used them ever since they first became available and they age gracefully and maintain their smooth, even feel through the years. Truly, nothing comes close!

For steel-string slothead guitars, these are simply the best tuners. The engraved plates are appropriate for the vintage look of slotheads and the tuner gears are smooth, trouble-free, and precise.

These just arrived today and I was surprised at how outstandingly beautiful they are. Top class tuners, tuners can't get better than these.

Waverly tuners are reminiscent of the craftsman engineering of a century ago. Form and function beautifully balanced. I highly recommend them. Stewmac provide an invaluable service, to which I've been pleased to have access over the years.

These are solid tuners. I purchased this set to replace a set of Golden Age Resto. tuners that were giving me fits. I did have to enlarge the holes in the peghead for the rollers, but other than that, they fit very well. The cast bronze baseplate is extra nice and the action is silky smooth. I actually got to check out an old guitar last weekend that has the same tuners on it, but that set is over 20 years old and it still works great. They do patina to a dark brown.

Classy and sturdy tuners - I fitted them on my "Chinese" Gypsy-jazz guitar and the sustain has increase noticeably due to the chunky brass string-posts. Hi-class base-plates in a "chic" bronze, and really smooth operation - best I've ever had I think - A bit pricey, but so is staying at the Ritz! - Worth the investment - go for it! DJP

For my money they're the best there is, and made in America. These went on a custom resonator guitar. In the past I bought 2 sets, disassembled them, mounted the gears on a 12 string base I machined from bronze. Now I have a 1969 Martin D-12-35 with Waverly tuners. Can't beat that.

I've been using Waverly machines on steel string and classical guitars for years. They look great and give smooth precision tuning, what more could you want.
