Economy 3-on-Plate Tuners

These tuners provided the perfect solution to get my old Framus Texan playing well again, without spending a lot of money. They look like the came on the guitar and perform really well. Great value; thanks stew-mac!

Just thought I'd add a second picture showing a Lap Steel guitar that I used these tuners on a solid head stock. They look and work great either way.

I've used these tuners on a few instruments now and have nothing but good things to say about them. They turn smoothly, hold the string tension well, and have a nice fit and finish. That's all I require.

For the money you just can't beat these tuners. I restored a vintage Harmony classical guitar with these, and I must say they worked just great. I will be buying all my replacement parts from Stewart-MacDonald.

I recently purchased, at a garage sale, a 1950 Supro Student Deluxe lap steel. It was in truly beautiful condition except for the tuners. The plastic buttons on the inexpensive 3-on-plate open back tuners had completely deteriorated.
I found these and checked out the details and they looked a good match.
When they arrived it took less than 5 minutes to change tuners. Except for the fact that the buttons are larger, they were perfect. Even the screw holes lined up. I wanted a good looking facsimile replacement and these filled the bill almost exactly.
The price was certainly right and they work very nicely too!
