The most precisely manufactured classical machines. To ensure unwavering stability and the tightest possible tolerances, each baseplate is machined from a solid brass billet on a CNC (computer numerical controlled) mill. There are no rivets, stampings or solder joints to impair the operation of these tuners. The gears and string rollers align correctly for unparalleled performance.
Mechanically superior for ultra-smooth tuning. Waverly's famous Sloane-patented worm bushings with nylon bearings are threaded into the super-precise baseplates. They're individually adjusted to eliminate endplay and looseness. Gear backlash is effectively nonexistent--the guitarist will encounter no frustrating dead spots in tuning. 16:1 machined bronze alloy crown gears and stainless steel worms ensure superior durability and smoother operation than the brass gears used in other brands. Each set is carefully assembled by hand in Montana USA, and inspected to strict standards.
Elegant appearance reflects the quality of fine guitars. The sleek Hauser-shape baseplates feature a crisp bright gold-plated CNC-engraved vine motif. Each set is adorned with elegant polished knobs of solid mother-of-pearl, genuine ebony or exotic snakewood, for a sophisticated look and feel. These tuners create a memorable first impression, and are designed to last a lifetime.
Specifications: 35mm (1-3/8") string roller spacing; 3/8"-diameter (9.52mm) rollers with brass inner shafts. Models with ebony knobs have black rollers. Mounting screws included.
