New smaller size, faster response and visual metronome!

Keep your audience focused on your music, not on the glowing light of your clip-on tuner.
No wires, no mics: the piezo element senses direct vibrations, unaffected by surrounding sounds. A great all-around solution for fast, accurate tuning on stage. Great price, too!

"Many standard clip tuners don't fit all the way onto a Tele headstock, and are a tight fit on a Strat. The clamp actually ends up hitting the high E tuning machine bushing. This little tuner can be clipped onto the headstock and left there while in its case. I think many regular clip tuners look silly on the headstock, so the fact that this one is "hidden" is a plus for me."
—Casey Davis, guitarist

The NS tuner works equally well on right or left-hand pegheads. 360-degree swivel adjustment gives you a good view of the backlit LCD readout: red for out-of-tune, green for in-tune. The NS tuner is accurate to within two cents, with improved calibration that's adjustable from 410-480Hz, with A440 default. A visual metronome has been added, too — great for practice!

The NS tuner is featherweight, compact and low profile. There's no acoustic damping when it's clamped in place, and it's small enough to leave on your instrument in the case—a real convenience. The slim ratcheting clamp is padded to help protect the peghead finish.

CR2032 3-volt lithium coin cell battery included. Auto shutoff helps conserve battery life.

Great for the price

I like the way this product provides inconspicuous, accurate and good-value tuning for acoustic guitars. It can sit unobtrusively underneath the guitar head and be kept on at all times, even in the case. I will probably buy one for each of my acoustic guitars. I haven't tried it on my electric guitars. Recommended.

Small, unobstructive tuner.

This tuner lived up to it's description. Only downside is the maximum opening for the tuner is the same width as my headstock. Tight fit but it is really nice.

Surprising Acurate for $20

I bought one hoping I wouldn't need to carry a tuner-pedal around. It gives close-enough accuracy for gigs, and you don't feel it hanging on the headstock, or feel any dampening the tone with it attached.

You do need to clamp it Tight! This guarantees the best coupling and the most sensitivity.

This is NOT a good tuner if you need silent-tuning (Like when I play at Church)! For this tuner to sense the notes you have to strum/pluck the strings hard enough for the vibrations to be seen by the tuner. Definatly not a great match for an acoustic guitar. I've banished mine to an electric bass since it produces minimal acoustic-volume. Also, if you hang the guitar by the headstock, be make sure there's a spot you can attach the clip without it being pushed-off!

Overall, if you don't need silent-tuning or use a stand that holds the guitar by the head, the this is a great tuner for $20.

i like it

It's very light, so don't worry about that. It's convenient, and if you have a black headstock, you probably won't notice it from more than a few feet away. I bought three, one for each of my guitars, and that's cheaper and more 'true bypass' than any tuner pedal:)
