Tuner is excellent in quality and fit my Takamini Classic Acoustic perfectly. Its all good.

I bought a used Yamaha AEX500N2 in black. The volume control knob is ebony. The turners knobs were the pearloid type that were glued in place (no screw for easy replacement of knobs). You gotta love StewMac, in there catalog a few options presented themselves and I choose the Gotoh #5837 (ebony knobs w/ screws) - so I can still have the option for custom knobs in the future...if I get crazy again.

The tuners were a little lower quality than I expected (a little more play in the gears) and one gear was particulary bad. The service, however, was great and they quickly sent me a new set of tuners and paid for all related shipping.

I now use these tuners for the first time on his classical guitar model by Hernandez y Aguado.
I like their simplicity and purity of lines without any unnecessary ornamentation. This is a modern tuners for Guitar

Just had them installed by my tech. They are the smoothest I've seen. A lot smoother than the ones that came with the guitar.

I used waverley tuners on my acoustic guitars but to keep costs down I bought Gotoh tuners for my classical guitar and I wasn't dissapointed.These tuners are Brilliant. Really good value for the money!

The surprise was that these are brushed brass, flat, not shiny like the photos. That said, I like the "less bling" look on my Guild. They dropped right in and work flawlessly on my GAD-5N, and are -vastly- superior to the OEM tuners. I feel like I added $200 to the value of the guitar! :-)
