Spoke Wheel Truss Rod Nut

Installed this item on my guitar and several of my pro customers. Looks good, easy to use and saves time removing neck from Fender type guitars.

I really like using these spoke wheel nuts for adjusting bolt-on necks at the body end of the neck, leaving more meat at the headstock. Does what it's supposed to do! Plenty of thread for me.

Would be great to have the same truss rod nuts with metric threading for us the overseas customers.

For structural purposes, I wanted to use a truss rod nut located at the heel of my first build. Additionally for strength, I did not want the sound hole in the standard location with the limited space remaining on the top. This adjusting nut allows the easiest access to change tension without needing to remove a pickguard to adjust.

The only aspect that makes me not give a 5 star rating is the thread length inside. The threads stop approximately at the halfway point of the shaft. Based on my neck and body design, I had to cut new threads all the way through with a die. When used on an popular accepted guitar design, like a MusicMan bass, these truss rod nuts likely will need no alteration to directly replace existing nuts.
