I've got a MIJ Strat, made in '95 I think, must be a '62 replica. I bought both 8-32 and 10-32 nuts. The larger one is the right one for japanese '62 replica Strats. The nut is slightly shorter than the original, and the slots are deeper.
I used a nut on my truss rod allen, but decided to change for these and was a good idea .. the measures work properly ... and now I have to make them!
$3 bucks! nice fit, nice finish works just the way it should.

I build my own truss rods, but the nut is much easier to buy than to make. I haven't had any issues with these nuts. Great product!
