Bought for a semi stripped truss rod nut on a gibson bass. Perfect fit and perfect angle to get bite and enough torque for a smooth adjustment. Wrench is well made too.
These are great, especially for unusual truss rod nuts. Used these on an old Peavey DynaBass that I just couldn't get a conventional wrench to work on. lifesaver.
I needed the above wrench for a Gibson Epiphone 1993 Les Paul (korean) that I recently nailed on one of my commando missions to Middle Georgia Pawn. Stew-Mac was courteous, efficient and prompt. The guitar neck is now perfect. Thanks to the nice folks in Athens, Ohio.
I just purchased the 1/4" wrench for my RB-250 an it is spot on. It is a wrench which is impossible to source in Australia. Maybe Gibson don't consider we buy enough Master Banjos. Well done guys. Works heaps better than my home made job
This item does NOT fit ALL Gibsons. Watch out and measure twice.
I bought the 5/16" wrench for my 1993 Nighthawk Special - Vintage Sunburst (2 pickup model). It does not fit. To be fair, nothing else I tried fit either. I didn't want to spend big money for an original Gibson wrench as there was no guarantee that it would work so I just modified this one (see picture). You can read about the details at the Gibson forum. Otherwise, I do love StewMac products and their stellar customer service.
Good solution Zuma. We also enjoyed your detailed modifications of the wrench on the Gibson Forum, thanks for sharing!
