Guitar Shop Starter Kit

Hi to all. Well just got my kit today very happy with it, look out guitars here I come. postage was quicker than I expected, could have fitted more tools in the box. Will be buying more tools next time and soon so as not to waste space in the next shipment. Have been wanting a shop like this for ever,thank heavens for the Internet

Vary expensive for what you get;A small saw,plastic hamer,cuple files,pair of pliers,small vice & a straight edge?? For the money you charge, thats bad.

This doesn't come cheap, but as the saying goes, "Buy Cheap, Pay Dear". I have used every tool in the kit on my first couple of fret jobs and set-ups, and have found them invaluable to complete the work; and for my first attempts, they came out very well. Saddles and nuts are a sinch with the tools included. It's a great start, especially if like me, you had two screw-drivers and a file as the only tools to your name. I would have preferred an extra couple of tools thrown in such as notched straight-edge and radius gauges, but then again I did get a digital-caliper set for free. If your budget stretches to it, you won't go far wrong with this starter set.

My starter kit arrived complete and as advertised. Two guitars, a mandolin, and an ukulele later the kit has been very valuable already.

I think this a great way to start, however I feel that for what you get the price is a little bit much.

I would've preferred a fret puller to cutters and over-string radius gauges to under; otherwise pretty rock solid.

This is a good basic kit for setups and nut making. I wish it included the neck jig or straight edge with the string slots and both crowning files for frets.Make it a real bargain and throw in one of those three.

This kit is well worth the $$$, if you have it. Within minutes of opening the box I was well on my way to making my 78 LP Goldtop play like butta using the straightedge, feeler gauges, fret rocker, understring radius gauges and a few files.

Based on my initial experience, perhaps a Gibson and Fender truss rod wrench should be included. All the tools seem well made but you can tell right away that the numbers on the files will rub away eventually. I'm going to add numbers to my file handles with a label maker.

this is an absolute fantastic kit, and truly is good enough to fix any guitar issues! I can't go on tour without these now
