Dreadnought Builders' Templates
Transferring blueprint specifications to the wood can be cumbersome, and that's why we designed these time-saving templates. They're a tremendous help for the first-time builder or the seasoned pro, and ensure fast, accurate, consistent layouts. Made of precision laser-stenciled transparent plastic, our Dreadnought set lets you easily lay out the peghead, soundboard, back and all the standard bracings, without guesswork.

The Dreadnought set includes .040" clear plastic templates for the body and peghead, with outside profiles, etched centerlines, and locations for the soundhole and pegholes. Complete standard brace locations for the soundboard and back are accurately stenciled, so you can quickly pencil the marks on the wood through the template. The tough plastic won't tear or crack, and the woodgrain is clearly visible for correct positioning.
