Guitar Bench Rest

I purchased this guitar bench rest to assist me in taking care of my guitars that I have had for longer than I care to remember. This bench rest does everything that it says on the box so to speak, it is certainly secure and without doubt it is definitely non slip. Over the years I have used all sorts of material from carpet to towels and even polystyrene( very messy at times ), but I think this is the first serious attempt to come up with bench rest system that really works and as an added bonus it is completely portable and rolls up in its own tube for tidiness. I can’t really fault it and will continue to use it to clean, fret dress, set up and restring my guitars. The only niggle that I have at all is that it is a tad expensive, but there again there is nothing that I have seen on the market that comes any where near to this system or any where near as good as this, I don't know how I managed without it.

This is a must have for anyone who cares about their guitar or bass and wants to prevent scratches or damage. great product

Great product keeps the guitar from getting scratched and keeps the kitchen table neat and clean. That and the fact that it does not take up space when stored, all good things for the guitar and my marriage.
Only complaint (and reason for not being 5 stars) is that the rest for the neck is a little thing for 7 string guitars). Otherwise a great buy thanks!

not impressed with the quality verses price. padding is to thin, you could get padding at a.c. more for 5 bucks and make your own neck holder with a wider base with better stability.

Works great for everything from string changes/setups to refinishing work.

I do a lot of refinish work & have been using towels that slide around my work area & don't provide a good solid base to work without worry that I may damage my current project if it slides off my towels. This Guitar Bench Rest fixed all of that & offers a near perfect angle for viewing & working on my projects.

I love the fact that the Neck Rest not only serves as the Cap to it's container when not in use but it also opens up to hold some of my often used tools such as wire clippers, needle nose pliers, some brief work notes & a string winder! I would recommend this product to any serious Luthier that needs good protection, easy access to their projects & all at a cost that's more than reasonable. Of course Stew Mac shipping times & rates are incredibly quick & reasonable as always.

very handy - it's perfect for string changes and maintenance. fits all my guitars perfectly. i've had strats, teles, lp's, acoustics and a couple basses on it - love it.
