Redesigned and improved!
Luthier's Digital Caliper
Measures fret height accurately before and after fret installation Easy to read in inches or millimeters
At our exhibits at trade shows and luthier conventions, everyone who tries this caliper is amazed at its quality, ease of use, versatility and reasonable price.
Our precision digital caliper has a custom jaw notch for measuring fretwire crown height (the height above the fingerboard) before fretting. This is essential for comparing new wire to the original fret height. And now, thanks to a clever idea by repairman Frank Ford, we've added a notch on the depth gauge to easily measure fret height on the instrument.
