The Dremel is a long-time guitar shop favorite for small-scale routing, grinding, cutting and polishing jobs. It's a workhorse tool for routing inlay cavities, bridge saddle slots, purfling channels, and lots of other precision tasks. The Dremel 4000 is more comfortable to hold at any grip position. You can dial-in speeds from 5000 to 35,000 rpm, for woods, plastics and metals.

The Dremel 4000 is part of a complete outfit that includes 30 accessories, 2 attachments (circle cutter and sanding guide). Everything fits into a sturdy molded storage case for fast, convenient transport and access.

Cant beat dremels price

Dremels are great little tools at a great price. These are accurate enough for most jobs but if you MUST have extreme accuracy (crazy inlays) then Foredom is the way to go. I can use my dremel for everything I will ever need (fingers crossed now). Make sure you give your dremel a brake every few minutes so she doesn't crap out on ya, especially with the flex shaft!
