These low-profile saws are available in five different cutting widths, and include super-thin .008" and .010" blades. They let you quickly rough-in new nut slots, saving you time and effort, so you can save your nut files for final adjustment of string slot depths and widths.

The saws are also handy for small trimming jobs (nuts, saddles, bridge blanks, violin pegs and soundposts, for example), and are useful for cleaning fret slots.
Each saw has a 5" x 7/16" steel blade with 22 teeth per inch, and a comfortable turned wooden handle.
The 0.010" Gauged Saw is included in the Essential Nut Making Tool Kit, which has all the basic tools you'll need for shaping, string-spacing, slotting and fitting string nuts like a pro.
