A guitar, bass or other fretted instrument is held in the Neck Jig with a single band clamp. The dial indicators, nut tensioner and peghead jack allow precise simulation of string tension and the effects of the instrument's truss rod. The single-beam design makes it easy to sight the neck, center the dial indicators and adjust the support pins, and lets you get in close with your fret files for good control. The Neck Jig can also be tilted to simulate the effects of the guitar's playing position.
Band clamp, tabletop support blocks, dial indicators, jig rods, nut tensioner, swivel-top leveling rods, ash beam, video and instructions are included.
Simulates normal string tension when the strings are removed from the instrument.'Remembers' and restores neck alignment without the strings (no guessing how the neck will look under string tension).Result: The most accurate fretting and fingerboard work possible.
Note: The "Neck Jig Instruction Video" is included FREE with the Erlewine Neck Jig!
