These 12" diameter buffing pads are designed for 3/4" diameter arbor shafts. The buffs have 16-ply's of "canton-weave" cotton material.

The "canton-weave" gives the buffs a soft "nap" on one side — they fluff-up the cotton weave — and a coarse weave on the other side provides a certain amount of rigidity. Two or more buffs are recommended per side when setting up a buffing arbor.
