The pot maintains hide glue at 150-155 degrees F when 2/3 to 3/4 full (approx. 10 degrees higher when using a lid). Behlen Ground Hide Glue is the traditional luthier's glue that creates stronger wood joints than bottled liquid hide glues.
For potting pickups, the ideal mixture is 80 percent paraffin and 20 percent beeswax. See our article Lindy Fralin on wax potting pickups.
This 120 volt (144 watt) AC electrical appliance has a U.S. standard Type B plug with two flat parallel prongs and a grounding pin.
