Fret Slotting Miter Box
Our luthier's miter box has been made especially for use with our Fret Saw and our Fret Scale Templates (it can also be used without the templates). Made of sturdy aluminum and brass, the miter box holds the saw blade perpendicular to the work, and is the right size for slotting any fingerboard up to 3" (76.20mm) wide.

The depth of cut and blade guide gap are adjustable for smooth, accurate sawing. Mounting holes are provided to attach the miter box to your workbench. A special indexing pin in the side of the miter box is for use with our notched fret scale templates. They accurately position a fingerboard for sawing the fret slots in a variety of popular scales.
The miter box is 12" (304.80mm) long.
