I use it on my homemade drum-sander,roto-disk,power sanders etc.
Practically in all stages of building guitars I'm using Stikit.

the adhesive is not strong enough

A very good product for both small and large shops - the obvious uses on the long aluminium beam radiusing cauls are already said. We also stick it to plate class for making wooden and graphite neck sections/surfaces dead flat as well as flattening peghead faces. We stick small pieces to wooden blocks to make micro sanding blocks and stick it to fingertips to get inside the box to tricky places. We use a heat gun to soften the backing glue prior to removal and it lifts off relatively clean. Nice product.

Ok, a bit dramatic I know, but I have discovered that this Sandpaper will even do the job of sharpening my chisels, setting up the base of my planes and spoke shaves as well as sharpening the blades of these items. Yes, I still finish up with waterstones, but using this sandpaper in conjunction with dead-level granite sure saves on set-up time!

This is a 3M product that we buy at body shop supply stores, same 3M part number, and larger rolls for less money, and the red 3M rolls are even cheaper, and work just as well, and are available in all grits.
