8" Wooden Radius-sanding Blocks

This 8" wooden radius-sanding block is prefect for my fretless convertion adventure.

I wanted to turn my 5 string bass into a fretless but was afraid of the possibilities of messing up the neck during the sanding process. I found one of your radius sanding blocks to be the perfect fit for my bass' neck. I removed the frets, filled the small imperfections with superglue (which took on the color of the fretboard), then filled the slots with epoxy and sanded it down using various grits from 220 to 600 and it looks phenomenal and plays great. I wouldn't have attempted it if I hadn't found your sanding blocks. Thanks, Dan

Than the ones from other suppliers. I would pay the few bucks extra and get these. They are the perfect width and feel nice in your hand. The radius is perfect. great for clamping also with a thin piece of plexiglass between the frets and the block.

Used this sanding block on my used telecaster I just bought. Worked great!

Such a simple tool that makes life so much easier! Half an hours work and I had the perfect radius on my scratch built neck. Yet again, StewMac supplies the right tool at the right price.
