The PowerKnife cleans, chisels, and tapers the crack, giving you accurate control of the width and the tapered depth of the cut. The jackhammer action of the chisel provides forward force for perfect directional control. A 5 oz. tube of lubricant is supplied with the Foredom handpiece; replacement tubes are available separately.
• Use the PowerKnife to trim the crack to uniform width and tapered depth • Prepare a splint with matching taper on your tablesaw • Fit and glue the splint into the widened crack • Trim the splint flush, and touch-up the finish later to match the surrounding wood
