Fast working, super-smooth cut
Dragon Large Hand-cut Rasp
Each tooth on a Dragon Rasp is individually hand-struck, producing a slightly random pattern that machine-made rasps can't equal. Dragon Rasps don't chatter, they cut fast, and they leave a smooth surface that needs little sanding.
These large Dragon Rasps have teeth on both sides and a 10" cutting length (also see our Dragon Small Hand-cut Rasp).

See details below

Dragon Rasps don't "wander" like machine-made rasps. Very sharp and fast-cutting, yet they leave a surprisingly smooth surface. Long-lasting teeth are hard, sharp, durable and on both sides of the rasp.
Use the Coarse Dragon Rasp to quickly shape: Solidbody contours Necks and bridges Jigs and cauls
Follow with the Fine Dragon Rasp for: Final shaping Smoothing Softening corners

February 12, 2008 Hi, just received two Dragon rasps, and am very impressed, they've halved the heel block shaping time. |

Inspirational, solves all the problem areas, and makes neck carving a joy instead of just drudgery. I only wish I'd had these 30 years ago. |
