F-hole Patch Clamp Set

The F hole patch clamps worked well, however it was hard to get a release glue to hold the patch on the clamp while inserting it in the violin. I tried several glues and other material such as melted wax before using Tweetins cue tip glue. I wanted to make sure the glue was strong enough to hold the patch on the clamp but not stronger than the hide glue used for the patch it's self.

I would recommend the manufacturer have a tiny needle point inserted in the part that the patch sits on. No glue would then be needed to hold the patch in place while being inserted, and greatly reduce the time fooling around with glue.
