Accurate pegholes without a drill press!
Tuning Machine Drill Jig
For solid-peghead guitars Your hand drill will stay perfectly aligned for drilling a peghead, thanks to hardened bushings in our adjustable drilling jig. Simply clamp the jig to the peghead, with a scrap wood block on the opposite side of the peghead to help prevent drill bit chip-out.
Jig comes with 3 bushing blocks. Order additional bushings blocks for drilling 6-in-line pegheads.

Three bushing blocks that are allen-adjustable for any peghole spacing (allen wrench included).
1/4" (6.35mm) and 10mm (25/64") bushing blocks can be ordered separately to add to the jig when drilling 6-in-line pegheads, mandolins or other setups.
Each bushing block is 3/4" x 2-1/4" (19.05mm x 57.15mm). The brass guide rods are 7" (177.80mm) long and are spaced 1-1/2" (38.10mm) apart.
Use a 10mm drill bit.
