Use the larger bits for removing wood in the middle of your inlay work, and save the fine bits for the fine details. The fine detail bits are fragile, for routing intricate details only.

The little bit that could!

Purchased the 3/32 and the 3/64 to route inlay pockets for a LP standard rosewood fret board. Couldn't be more pleased. Did a test route with the 3/32 but it was obvious that it would be a little to large for the margins and corners and way to aggressive that close up so I opted too use the 3/64 for everything. That little guy cut through that rosewood like the proverbial hot knife in butter. Also used it to undo two MOP inlays fully set up and while I needed to take this a little slower it did the job well. Absolutely no fuzzy edges just as advertised. While $18 is a little rich for something the size of pencil lead I couldn't find it cheaper elsewhere so what's a guy gonna do.

Just what the Dr ordered...

I purchased the set not knowing what to expect. The bits are high quality, and amazingly clean-cutting for small inlay bits. I use one of the smaller bits way more than the others and have been impressed with how long it has stayed sharp for the amount of cutting I have done. Normal care for tiny tools is required. You will not be disappointed!
