These papers are graded on the "P-scale," indicating a truly uniform cutting surface (read about abrasive grading scales in our Finishing Step-by-Step book). This selection of 22 sheets will stock your shop with every grit you need for professional finishing.
3M Gold Fre-Cut™ Sandpapers have a special non-stearated "no load" coating that helps shed sanding residue for better efficiency, and also helps prevent "fisheyes" (cratering) in water-base finishes. Fre-Cut sandpapers last longer-that's why we use them in our own workshops.
Micro finishing papers are abrasives for water-sanding scratch-free finishes. Grit particles are uniform in size, virtually eliminating sanding scratches. Perfect for modern polyester finishes or traditional lacquered surfaces.
After sanding, use ColorTone® Polishing Compounds to complete the high gloss.
