Install the jack and screw its white (hot) wire into the connector’s right-side terminal (as viewed from the bottom of the pickguard). |

Screw the jack’s black (ground) wire into the center terminal. |

Clip your tremolo claw ground wire (or the ground wire from your non-tremolo bridge) off your old control pot, strip away 3/16” of the insulation, and screw the wire into the left-side terminal. |

Classic 1950s tone. Golden Age vintage-style Alnico 5 staggered polepieces and AWG42 coil wire deliver! The pickups are individually wound for optimum output at the neck, middle and bridge positions, and wax-potted for microphonic suppression. The middle pickup is reverse wound, reverse polarity, for hum cancellation at the #2 and #4 switch positions. Each pickup has 2-1/16" (52.39mm) polepiece spread, and vintage-style fabric-insulated hookup wires. The neck and middle pickups are 6.0K ohms; the bridge pickup is 6.4K ohms. The right look. Golden Age prewired pickguards are available in popular colors. White and matte black pickguards are single-ply with 8 mounting screw holes; laminated pickguards have 11 holes. Each pickguard is .100" (2.54mm) thick, and has foil conductive shielding on the underside.
