Gauged Nut Slotting Files

Quality tool.

If your looking for a quality tool that will do the job , look no further this is it. Nothing else that I've tried works as well as these files. Ruff in the slot with a saw and then finish with the files. They are the best.

Your nuts are too important to do a sub-par job on! Always use the right tools for the job. Professional results don't come easy or cheap. Remember the initial cost will pay for itself many times over with quality jobs (and customer and personal satisfaction). I just used mine on a piece of black horn for a jazz box using 56-13 flatwounds. Outstanding results.

These files work very well. Slots are accurate and can be widened slightly by working the file side to side. I've been using them to slot banjo bridges and they work great.

Forget the saws and single edge fret files, the double edge nut slotting files are durable,easy to use and precise and the perfect addition to your bench.

I used these files to cut the slots in the brass saddles of the Schroeder Stoptail bridge. They cut through the brass very quickly and cleanly and made the job fun. The bridge sounds great and the additional intonation control made a good, PRS SE semi-hollow even better.

They get the job done!! as simple as that. Good quality materials, but I rate 'em with 3 stars cause I think the files are over-priced!!
