There is only one problem with the saddle screws I ordered to replace the rusty ones on my ABR-1 bridge. They are slightly too short. The pointy end of the screws do not seat tightly in the little holes in the bridge. This loose condition allows the assembly to rattle and buzz. The nickel plating is a good quality as are the threads but they come up short as compared to the original dimensions. I put the old ones back in and the buzzing rattle went away.
I got the nickle set of these saddle screws for my black Dean Razorback. These nickle saddle screws were a little short, but they were just long enough to do the job. They also look great contrasted against the black paint job.
After getting no answers or help from Gibson, I turned to Stewmac for parts for an old Les Paul. I needed to replace the parts on a ABR bridge, new saddles, screws and wire. Only issue, the screws are to small in size and had too much play, the original screws where recruited once again.
