Just installed a set on a Classic Vibe Tele & the intonation is pretty much perfect. I added grooves to stop the strings slipping sideways but otherwise a 5 star product!
Installed these on my 62' Reissue and they sound great... the improvement in tone was instant. I was even able to get a near perfect intonation with GHS Eric Johnson 11, 14, 19, 28, 40, 52.
I felt immediate improvement. They are somewhat tricky to setup (you need a really small flat screwdriver) and springs are real pain (very strong), however the final result is great sound. I have them on a 50's Classic Vibe Squier. definitely recommend. It turned out that the intonation is near perfect with 9 gaouge strings.
A good upgrade for a Telecaster style bridge. The ones that come with the saddles were too short for my project. Thankfully, the screws for the original saddles had the same thread. In fairness, the bridge I put them on was a cheap copy though. For sound and intonation, no Telecaster should be without these.
I couldn't believe how much better my tele sounded after this simple, inexpensive upgrade. Highly recommended.
Tele is closer to proper intonation than it's been since I've owned it. The reason these compensated brass barrel saddles. Great price great product!
This helped a lot in resolving intonation issues. While not perfect as strings as grouped, it goes along way to help. It is very fairly priced. I put this on all my teles
This is my 2nd set of these saddles. They are a must have if you want to intonate your Tele right. I bought a set off the internet and they were junk. I will only buy mine from StewMac!
Compensated Bridge Saddles... what more can I say, I let my telecaster do the talking. I must admit before I changed to these saddles I had a distinctive sound with my old saddles (Chrome Saddles). However in saying that, my new saddles are perfect and now I can add to the sound I use to have. I never have problems with setting my harmonics either. If your after a twang and longer sustain and most of all that distinctive tele sound... these are the saddles to get. Thanks Team.
They intonate better than stock Tele brass barrel saddles. Installation is simple, and they sound exactly like they should. Seem to be made to a very high standard of workmanship. They cost less than half of the boutique saddles, but perform just as well (or in some cases better).
