Purchased the 3/32 and the 3/64 to route inlay pockets for a LP standard rosewood fret board. Couldn't be more pleased. Did a test route with the 3/32 but it was obvious that it would be a little to large for the margins and corners and way to aggressive that close up so I opted too use the 3/64 for everything. That little guy cut through that rosewood like the proverbial hot knife in butter. Also used it to undo two MOP inlays fully set up and while I needed to take this a little slower it did the job well. Absolutely no fuzzy edges just as advertised. While $18 is a little rich for something the size of pencil lead I couldn't find it cheaper elsewhere so what's a guy gonna do.
I couldn't have done my first rosette without them.
Now I can do nice and clean inlay routing with these bits
Its great but it can be found in te market for less money...
These bits perform exactly as advertised. A very clean cut and impressive for routing inlays on fingerboards.
These router bit a simply perfect! They are not cheap, but defenitly worth the money. I couldn´t do without them.
I purchased the set not knowing what to expect. The bits are high quality, and amazingly clean-cutting for small inlay bits. I use one of the smaller bits way more than the others and have been impressed with how long it has stayed sharp for the amount of cutting I have done. Normal care for tiny tools is required. You will not be disappointed!
These are just Great!!
If you're inlaying into an expensive piece of wood, then this is a small price to pay for such a clean cut. I was very impressed with the clean cut it made in Spruce when inlaying narrow purfling in Rosettes.
This are good quality bits, worked good for my custom inlay job. Also used for binding channel which turned out great.
