With the diameter given, all I had to do is choose the correct drill bit, drill the places that the dots will be placed, glue and press the dots into the fingerboard, let dry, level the dots and polish. That You. Ken
Could not be easier. Get the right drill bit and take your time locating the holes precisely and these will be the thing people look at and say "How did you do that." As opposed to the 100 harder things you pulled off building a guitar.
I've bought some just to keep them as i need, they're good to machine and beauty once finished.
