The quality of the spider was far better than the original on my dobro hound dog. The only question I have is why was the hole not drilled to fit the screw, a small thing but it made it harder to install. This spider took very little to level and fit.

Thank you for your purchase and review, and we're glad you liked the bridge. On original vintage Dobro spider bridges, like the one that the Beard #14 is based on, the screw head sits on top of the walls of the saddle slot. Modifying the bridge so that the screw head sits in the bottom of the saddle slot like modern bridges will also work, though.
