It is what it is. If you want a modern jack cup or a les paul style jack plate then this might not be for you. But if you want a more traditional vintage look this could be the ticket.

Cumbersome

I find the Gibson Les Paul Jack Plate infinitely easier to install without special tools. Works on any body that has a hole like a Tele Body.

Does the job, but a bit pricy.

To install the retainer clip, the telecaster jack insert tool is recommended, which is also expensive for what you get. The jack seems a bit shallow for what you get. Other than that, it works.

the plate works, but the tele clip is a pain. The cup is also too shallow to screw into the guitar.
