Metal Mounting Rings for Single-coil Pickups

This was just what I needed for my natural finish Telecaster with mini humbuckers. Why hide the wood under a pick guard when you can make one out of plexi and use this Chrome ring? 5 Stars. Thanks Stewmac.

I ordered them for a rear routed Strat build. The pickups do fit tight, but they do fit, and it's not so tight that it makes them hard to adjust after the install. Everything lined up perfectly.
They also give the guitar a nice clean finished look.
In my opinion a must for a rear routed strat, I'll buy them every time I build in the future.

Works great. Make pickup height changes on single coild Pickup that much easier.

these are alittle spendy but the make the guitar look awesome.

When you want shiny, these are perfect. High quality, and a perfect (I mean PERFECT) fit to the standard single-coil size. Almost need some soap to get them on...

I ordered this ring (1570) for a custom Firebird/Tele build. I am very pleased, the piece is solid and the chrome is excellent. The fit is also excellent.

needed gold to match the gold cover of the pickup I rebuilt and the rest of the gold hardware on the guitar. gives the guitar a great look..the mint green, gold and blue have an original look, but went together so well

I have to agree with a previous poor review....
1) There's some kind of film on the finish, with blemishes.
2) On mine,The hole pattern for mounting the pickup to the plate is off (too wide)which makes this plate useless to me.
I've had good luck with ALMOST everything else I've purchased from SM. Sadly, these items are junk.....

I grabbed a single mounting ring for a tele project I'm working on. It showed up individually packaged in perfect condition. Not much to go wrong with these - it was what I expected so I was pleased there were no surprises.
