Metal Humbucker Mounting Rings For Flat Bodies

I changed the look of my NECG "FrankenJag". It originally had black pickups and chrome hardware. Didn't like the sound or the look so I changed it all over to gold hardware and creme pickups. So, I had to do the pickup ring which was black and just didn't go with the look of the guitar anymore. This one worked out quite well.

Was thinking of ways to save money...use plastic, black, tan, but then realised I was making a graduation present for my son...used blue and gold..it was his graduating from the police academy...so this was just the right color

I got a set of the tapered silver metal humbucker rings for my Black Dean Razorback and it makes it shine like there is no tomorrow. Very high quality compaired to the stock plastic rings and also gives her a better sustain and sound as well. Instead of using the screws that came with it, I got a set of black humbucker mounting screws and black screws to mount the rings, and it looks absolutely awesome. Definite must hav for all serious guitar players.

I dressed up a nice sandoval rhoads copy with these. Percect! I added them to my Dean Schenker V also. Very nice metal, not cheap plastic.

These have are good quality, and look and feel much better than the plastic mounting rings I bought before (but did not end up using). These definitely add to my guitar's beauty.

Finish off your guitar in style. A great improvement over el-cheapo plastic units.

I purchased this pickup ring for an EMG 81 bridge pickup. I was concerned about the inside "cutout" area not being big enough for the EMG 81 as I had bought another metal pickup ring from a guitar repair shop and had to file it a lot to get the EMG to fit. But this pickup ring fit perfectly with the EMG 81 and all 4 holes lined up. Seems very solid and the gold finish looks like it will hold up for a good long time. Looks great with my black guitar!
