Highly polished traditional stamped-steel coverplates with handrest, for attachment to the top of the guitar over the resonator cone and bridge. #1531 for Dobro^® and similar spider-bridge guitars has classic sunray soundholes. #1528 for National™ and similar biscuit-bridge guitars has the "diamond" pattern.

#1531 for Dobro^® is 11-3/16" (284.16mm) diameter, chrome plated, with access hole for bridge adjustment. 12 mounting screw holes.

#1528 for National™ is 10-1/16" (255.59mm) diameter, chrome plated. 9 mounting screw holes.

Not bad!

When ordering these cover plates you may want to request that a StewMac tech pick you out one with nice machining and plating. I know I did and received a very nice cover. After 40 years of 'building' I doubt that I would rate my instruments with five stars
