Five-Star Flathead Tone Ring

No fancy specifications or hype - just a straightforward, reliable tone ring that delivers the goods every time. I use it mostly for upgrading the sound of Chinese- or Korean- produced resonator 5-strings. If they have even half-sensible rims, this StewMac ring brings out tones that the original manufacturers of the banjos probably wouldn't believe possible!

I must say I have a lot of high end banjos and I have tried lots of tone rings, in my opinion you can't get a better sounding tone ring for the money. This ring has it all. The banjo's 4th string sounds real nice and deep and the high end strings sounds nice and crisp as well. As you play down the neck, all the notes are very nice and clean and clear. These tone rings ring like a bell. As a lot of you know, Banjo is my life and my business this is the ring I have in my banjos.
