1/8" (3.00mm)-diameter mounting hole required.

A Felt Washer is recommended to protect the guitar finish.

TIP: Pre-threading the mounting hole will help you avoid twisting off the button during installation. We recommend our Strap Button Drill Bit and Tap.

The Endpin Grip is a great way to hold the button securely for ding-free installation or removal.

Easy to install

I have Stu-Mac strap buttons on my 96 Guild jf30,strunal Chezrepublic mandolin,National MR-1 Mandolin,&72 GibsonB-25/12. Be very careful. If you aren't sure, go in to the guitar store where you spend money and ask the repair(luthier) person if it's ok, to. Of coarse Stu-Mac has great tech help too.

Beautiful button

I installed this on a Martin D-15M and it looks fantastic with the mahogany. Drilling must be precise due to having to hand tighten the button in (can't be too loose or it won't stay, or too tight because you'll destroy your wrist).

Strap Button

The strap button worked as advertized and is very handsome. It looks great on the mandolin.

Love this button

The look and quality are great. It's just a little harder to install since you have to hand tighten it.
