Almost Got It !

Great idea and excellent quality. Easy to clean up as well due to it's component make up, BUT we need various sized needles for various thickness applications. There are times when I do not want to water down my glue but can not pass it through the smaller needle orifice and 1/8 vinyl tubing is too big. Nevertheless I use them often.

It's about time!

For years i used medical syringes for glue application in tricky places. These syringes are immeasurably more comfortable in my hands and cause much less finger fatigue when faced with many repairs in a day. It's about time. Thanks Stewmac!

Far Better than Disposables

The very small plunger and tabs on an ordinary syringe makes it difficult (and painful) to apply glue at the pressure needed to penetrate deeply into a crack. If the repair is long, it can be tiring as well. This syringe is easy to use and you can get a good grip for a high pressure delivery that can be maintained without discomfort. Attach 1/8" stiff plastic tubing and you can reach remote areas (the inside of guitars or furniture). Its easy to clean too.

Must have, if you must have it.

You'll know if you need this because it's basically for sealing a crack with glue. If you just split a portion of your neck, this and watered down wood glue are your silver bullet.

These syringes are too expensive to my estimation (-1 star), but they work great. The needle is small enough to get into cracks, but big enough to pass water/glue. The syringe and plunger are good quality. I fixed a cracked neck on my LP Studio with this and watered down wood glue (also offered at Stew-Mac). If you gotta have it, you gotta have it!

Glue Syringes

I have both sized syringes and used them almost every day at my shop.

Order The Needles, Too!

Well made items. Like Jason, I was surprised when the syringes came without the needle as I saw pictured online. I dug around in the packing material of the box they came in and found none. And no suggestion when I added the syringes to the online shopping cart that I also order needles. I looked in the paper catalog and read a little note about having to order the needles separately. So now I'm back to place another order just for the needles, additional postage, yada, yada...
Perhaps StewMac should include needles with the syringe set? I'm sure they'd get used.

Get the glue in where it counts

I picked up both sized syringes and used them to fill in cracks, get glue under an old fingerboard and various other applications on an old beat up guitar. They come apart nicely and are easy to clean.

The only issue I ran into was the fact that they don't come with needles. Make sure you order them when you place your order.
