Easy Peasy

Easy to mix and work with. Don't over do it,... just use what you need and don't glob it all over or else you have a lot more material to sand/file down once it sets up.

This stuff is great. It holds very well and looks beautiful. Do be careful in the mixing. A definite must have.

slow setting black

Its great for pretty much anything, and it bonds very strong. I really like having the 90 minutes of working time with it. Its about as black as anyone could ask for. The only thing I don't like its smell *haha*, but I can deal with that for this great of quality!

Black Epoxy

I am no great inlay artist so I found the black epoxy to be a great help in filling in the gaps around my work. I would have preferred that it come with instructions for a first-timer.

As Strong As Cement

This stuff holds up very well, the black epoxy is very useful for covering mistakes in ebony.

soft

This epoxy doesn't set up as hard as some others I have used. After even, thorough mixing, applying, and a couple of days of set up, it still feels a little spongy.

Excellent product

This epoxy (the Slow setting black) was the perfect color for inlaying on my StewMac ebony fingerboard.

It set up slow enough that I was able to mix one batch large enough to glue in all 13 inlays, and still be able to move the inlays into their final position. The consistency of the glue was easy to work with, and filled all "gaps" easily. Once it was sanded down, it's virtually invisible.

Highly recommended!

Black Epoxy

I have not used this on any of my guitars yet but I did have to use some of it around the house the first day it arrived and it works really well on other plastics.

Strong bonding stuff!

I ordered the slow setting clear epoxy to hold a couple carbon fiber rods in place in a guitar neck, and the stuff works great. It has a viscosity similar to that of honey or syrup, so it was easily spread to cover the entire cavity without flowing back to one end or the other.

A word of advice though... Be sure to use in WELL VENTILATED areas!!! the resin was not so bad but the hardener is one of the most foul smelling chemicals I've ever came across. It does dry scent free though :)
