StewMac Medium Fretwire

I'm very happy with the fret wire this will be used to restore an old Layle Classical Guitar that belonged to my Grandfather. Thank you Stewmac you guys have great products

Very good quality frets that match very well with vintage Gibsons. You need to start at the longer frets first in case you cut one short, you can use it up higher on the neck. There is not much waste on the length, so do not over measure on these, because you'll run out.

I understand why this is Dan Erlewine's favorite! I also love the tubes they ship it in as they are great for keeping all my wire organized. I really appreciate the quantity discount. Fantastic wire!

I have been using Stewmac fret-wire for years and stock a lot of it. It works & polishes well, wears well, and I've never had a complaint. I've used it for all fretted instruments.

This fretwire makes the job a breeze. The medium/medium is a good match for most guitars. I can actually get a 12 inch radius in the wire by coaxing the 2 foot section into a circle and it'll hold that radius without kinking. I'm sure this is not a preferred method, but it works for me. This wire wears very well too.

This is the wire I put on all my custom neville guitars unless somebody specifies something else.I think this is the all around perfect height and width and top quality stuff

Used on a circa 1959 lesPaul style arch top, matched with perfectly seems a little tall for the age, but acceptable. the frets were cut by hand way back when but they were tapered... had to recut them all so the wire would work but that was expected due to the guitar. levels quick, polishes up to a chrome like gloss.
