Each hardwood block is 8" (203.20mm) long and 2-3/4" (69.85mm) wide.

We make these economical blocks for use with 220/320-grit self-stick sandpaper when leveling frets, and 80/120-grit when shaping the fingerboard.

Tip: It’s a great clamping caul for glue-in fret jobs, too.
Stikit 3M Gold Paper Self-adhesive Abrasives are our favorite abrasives for radius-sanding blocks. It cuts like a file and doesn't "load up" like ordinary sandpaper.

The shorter 4" Wooden Radius-sanding Blocks are better for spot leveling frets or fingerboards.

For the professional shop we have the 18" long Aluminum Radius-sanding Beam for faster, and more precise shaping.

Perfect Product

This is a very helpful tool. I am using this to radius new frets that need sanding. Recently i used it for changing the neck radius from 16" to 14".

great item

I bought the 8" sanding block and just used it on my first fingerboard. Actually, it is the first neck I have built. I radiused an ebony fingerboard in about 30 minutes with the block, some doublesided tape and sand paper. I feel no need to pay more for fancier radius equipment because used carefully, this tool worked perfectly. My fretboard matched up dead on with my template. I highly recommend it.

These things are brilliant!

I can honestly say that since I've had the full set of these radiused blocks, the quality of my fret dressing work has increased ten-fold!
They make my life a whole lot easier, and I have the confidence that I'm going to end up with a fretboard that feels great!
I also use them for refinishing a rosewood/ebony board.
