Fret Press System
Pressing frets into place is a time-saving and accurate method widely used in guitar production. Our self-leveling steel fret press caul, fitted to our heavy-duty arbor press, brings this method to your shop. The arbor press is made of cast steel, with an adjustable steel pinion for firm pressure.

#4483 Fret Press System includes: Arbor press Self leveling caul Hardwood neck support (contoured and cork-lined) Five radiused brass fretting inserts
Radiused brass fretting inserts are interchangeable, 2-1/2" (63.50mm) wide. Radii included 7-1/4", 9-1/2", 12", and 16"-radius fretboards, and a special 6"-radius caul to hold down the fret ends for gluing. (184.15mm, 241.30mm, 304.80mm, 406.40mm, and 152.40mm)

The distance from the center of the ram to the vertical support beam is 3-1/8" (79.38mm). This press can exert up to 1/2 ton of pressure (453.6kg).
