Fret Slotting Miter Box

Our luthier's miter box holds your saw blade perpendicular to the work, and is the right size for slotting any fingerboard up to 3" (76.2mm) wide.

We designed it to work with our Fret Slotting Saw or Japanese Fret Saw, and our Dual Fret Scale Templates make it especially versatile for cutting a variety of standard fret layouts.

Instructions
The depth of cut and blade guide gap are adjustable for smooth, accurate sawing. Mounting holes are provided to attach the miter box to your workbench. A special indexing pin in the side of the box is for use with our notched fret scale templates. They accurately position a fingerboard for sawing the fret slots in a variety of popular scales.

The miter box is 12" (304.8mm) long, and is made of sturdy aluminum, brass and steel.
