Fret Puller

no problems. Love it!

The first set I received had slightly mis-ground jaws, which is why I couldn't give them a 5-star rating. But the replacement set was sent out to me as soon as I mentioned the problem to customer service, and those were flawless. Great tool. Not cheap, but I don't need to spend my time hunting down the right pair of cutters to modify. To me, they're worth the money.

Just purchased the Fret Puller. It works. Took the first few frets to really get the hang of it, learning the whole "walking the fret out" thing. After those first few, I blew past the others. Seemed very well built, nothing flimsy or weak about it. It's pricey, and shipping aint cheap either, but I figure I'll use this constantly when I have my own repair/custom shop so it's a worthwhile investment!

This is the perfect tool for it's designed use. A must have.

Just simply essential for fret repair!

The usefulness of this tool made the removal of all nineteen frets from my banjo easily done.

nice puller , great jobs without damages

This is the 2nd puller I've purchased from SM. The first was bought back in the 80's, and it had the same defect that this new one has: It wasn't ground down enough to make BOTH jaws sharp enough to go under the fret. One side will go under the fret, but the other side just blunts up against the fret and wants to slip over the top of it when you squeeze. I'm sure they're not all bad, but who ever is grinding these needs to slow down and finish the job.

Excellent, I used to do a Jazz Bass Fretless, was perfect the removal of rubbish, without damaging the scale.
