Fret Beveling File

Best Tool.I love it.

This beveling file is nice, well made and work as it's supposed to. But, that would be great to have a 90° angle in addition to the 35° to file the frets flush to the fretboard on a freshly fretted neck.

This tool works pretty good, and doesn't mar up the binding like I thought it might on my L5, Les Paul, or Taylor T5. It's not adjustable, so you can't set the angle you want. But it's certainly great for a shrunken fingerboard where the frets are scraping up your hand.

What would I do without StewMac? This tool is foolproof and, being quite the fool, it has saved me many a headache. It puts on the perfect bevel every time. Amazing.

Need to bevel the ends. worked great. A must have.

OH YES..... the fret beveling file takes the guess work out of beveling and gives a consistent bevel. :-O)) I'd like to see a fine grit insert that would polish the bevel.

great tool! a little on the pricey side but still works well in the beginnings of my shop.. bought both sizes and currently using them on a clients custom guitar... works great and has almost no chatter

Bought this file to undertake my first refret job- the results are amazing! This really is a foolproof tool!

The number one complaint that I see the most of are protruding frets or just a rough fret board on a guitar, banjo ect. With this tool I can quickly remedy the problem with out the worry of marring the neck. It is very fast and does a wonderful job. Would not be without it.
