Target's high-solids urethane formulation fills the pores of open-grained woods such as mahogany, walnut, ash, koa and rosewood. After leveling, you're ready to spray smooth, unblemished coats of sealer and lacquer. Simply brush on the filler, let it set, and remove the excess with a leveler tool.

Versatile Target Waterbase Clear Grain Filler can be used under waterbase or nitrocellulose finishes. It's clear, so it can be tinted with ColorTone Liquid Stains or Waterbase Pigments before application, to accent and enhance the wood grain.

Not that great.

After using this, I thought wow nice and smooth. WRONG! The grain isn't really filled in. I used this, sanding sealer, vinyl sealer and still some tiny grain spots. I guess it's back to putty.

Dont try this with stain under Em1000

Numerous times this grain filler melted into the sealer and wiped away the color. also cause some crazing on curved edges. Maybe its that everything is waterbased but thats what target is pretty much. Wasted alot of materials and time, but I will say I like Em7000 but there is something odd either with the sealer mixing with grain filler so easily

Not worth it

Normally I trust anything StewMac sells—this product really let me down. It simply did not do the one thing it was supposed to—fill the grain. I used several applications and then gave up.

Won't buy this again

I'm up to 9 coats and sandings on my guitar and the grain STILL is not filled. I've waisted too much time and money trying to make this product work. Save yourself the aggrevation and buy another grain filler. This is the pits - literally.
